That’s right, this month (and this month only!) we’re supporting SHAVING! We’re raising Movember awareness through competitive goodness.
If there’s one thing we love at Bristlr, it’s a good cause, and we strongly believe in the Movember cause!
You might find the idea of shaving off your beard a terrible one, but even if you don’t join in the Movember Mo growing it’s still worth supporting.
Movember raises awareness of something that isn’t often talked about among men – health! Specifically health problems faced by men such as prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health. It’s scary to think about but many men are dying far too young due to these issues. Why? Because men aren’t often enough encouraged to talk to each other about their health (specifically mental health), usually from an early age.
So, now you know the basics of the Movember cause (be sure to check the website for more info!), let’s raise some awareness ourselves with a competition!
To enter using your Instagram or Twitter account – be sure to tag us in your final Mo picture on the last day of #Movember, and use the hashtag #BristlrDoesMovember! We’ll choose our winner and runners up, then get in touch in the first week of December.
